Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Therapy obtained from the University of Stellenbosch , South Africa, December 1994

Experience

I began my career in the United States in 1995. After 2 years of traveling therapy where I worked in a number of skilled care and acute rehab facilities, I was employed at Centra Health where I worked in acute rehab, skilled care, Home health and out patient services. It was in out patient services, I discovered a love for Hand Therapy. In 2000, I was employed by Piedmont Orthopaedic Surgery. I obtained my Certification in Hand Therapy in November 2002. My focus since 1998/99 and has been on rehabilitation of the Upper Extremity and orthotic fabrication.
