Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Fitness Programming - Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA
Experience: Mike comes to the OCCV with 12 years experience as a personal trainer and former health club owner. During that time Mike worked with a diverse range of clients that includes the treatment of individuals with restoratvie needs to elite level athletes. Some of Mike's training and treatment areas include Parkinson's, Chronic Fatigue, Rheumatoid Arthritis, joint replacement and Mike’s athletic specialties’ include endurance sports and amateur athletes.
Certifications: Certified as a Health and Fitness Instructor (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine, in 2007, Zealand earned his FMS (functionalmovement.com) Certification, in 2008 was certified as a Russian Kettlebell Instructor (RKC), in 2010 was certified as a Indian Club Specialist, Functional Movement Instructor and was certified by the HORA Method in Parkinson’s disease Training in Munsingen, Germany
